Liposuction

Every individual’s fat distribution and body shape is genetically determined. Exercise and healthy eating habits can help you to look lean and muscular but it does not always remove the localized fat deposits.

Dr. D’Amore uses a tumescent technique to gently remove fat from specific areas of the body and neck. The recovery time is usually very short and the results are visible after a few weeks.

Liposuction can be used to slim the hips, thighs, flatten the tummy or eliminate a double chin. The best candidates for liposuction are:
• Men and women of normal weight who want to improve their body shape and contour.
• People with fat deposits that are “trouble areas”, where exercise and diet seem not to have any effect.
• People with good elasticity in their skin, so when the fat is removed, they will achieve a smooth appearance.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

The abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the abdomen. We all know that the abdomen has a tendency to become stretched after pregnancies or significant weight loss. During the tummy tuck the excess skin and fat is removed, if necessary the weak abdominal muscles can be made tighter. Depending on the person’s tissue a mini abdominoplasty can be performed with a significantly smaller incision. Other body contouring procedures like liposuction can be added to the abdominoplasty if required.

Total Body Lift

For patients who have lost a significant amount of weight and the skin has not adapted to the new body shape a Total Body Lift can be performed to restore the lost appearance by removing the excess skin of the abdomen, flanks and back. The procedure can occasionally be performed in conjunction to a breast lift and a thigh lift.
