Face and Neck Lift
The Facelift is a surgical procedure designed to decrease the signs of aging of the skin and soft tissues of the face and neck. The goal of the procedure is to restore the different anatomical structures and therefore to achieve a very natural level of rejuvenation. The results will allow you to find the appearance that was yours several years ago.
During surgery the very thin superficial muscles and soft tissues (SMAS) that have lost elasticity are placed under youthful natural tension. The skin is then redraped over the new achieved foundation without undue tension. This will provide a very natural result because the skin is not placed under high tension (wind tunnel effect). Dr. D’Amore always individualizes the procedure according to the person’s features; if fat is present in the chin area it is gently removed before the tightening procedure. Depending on the individual’s features, fat can also be injected to achieve optimal correction in certain areas of the face with a technique called Lipostructure. Particular attention is placed in hiding the incisions in the hairline or inside the ear. The resulting scar is therefore extremely well concealed. Short incision Face-lift is also performed when indicated. If requested a face lift can safely be performed in conjunction with brow lifting and eyelid surgery to achieve a comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
The goal of Eyelid Surgery is to rejuvenate the very important area located around the eyes. The procedure is designed to correct droopy eyelids, frown lines and baggy lower eyelids. The rejuvenation is achieved by a judicious mix of removal of excess skin, removal or repositioning of fat and filling of established frown lines.
Forehead / Brow Lift
The goal of Brow lifting is to rejuvenate the forehead by gently raising the position of the eyebrows that have descended with aging. As a result of the procedure, a more balanced and youthful appearance is achieved and the horizontal and vertical lines are improved. The procedure is always performed using a minimally invasive technique and therefore long incisions in the scalp are avoided. A recent technical breakthrough consists in using an absorbable implant placed invisibly behind the scalp. Dr. D’Amore’s goal is to achieve a very natural, refreshed look. A “surprised” look is always avoided.
Injectables
To gently erase some of the signs of aging we offer several different Injectables including BOTOX®, Juvéderm™, Restylane®, Perlane®, Sculptra™ and Radiesse®. The list grows regularly as new products come to the market. To ensure the best results in a consistent manner, and in contrast to several other centers, Dr. D'Amore performs all the injections personally.
Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation is performed by Injectables (including fat) or by exciting new implants which are semi permanent. Please ask our office about the best procedure for you.
Nasal Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
The goal of Rhinoplasty is to soften the contour of the nose to achieve more balanced and pleasing facial features. The procedure is performed through a very small incision placed either on the inside or the outside of the nose. If a very weak chin is noted during the preoperative consultation the chin can be augmented with the use of a chin implant.
