Candidates
Ideal candidates must be non-smoking individuals of average weight and be in good health. If you have good skin elasticity, then liposuction alone can remove stubborn bulges and provide you with the flat, lean stomach you desire. Patients with skin laxity might consider combining liposuction with other body contouring procedures to remove any excess skin. Liposuction can reduce fat in one or more of the following areas:

Consultation
During your scheduled consultation, Dr. D’Amore will go over your health history and evaluate the areas and extent of fat accumulation to determine the best treatment plan for you.
Procedure
Using the tumescent technique, Dr. D’Amore will make a small incision in the treatment site and infiltrate local anesthesia to help minimize pain. The fat is liquefied, and then Dr. D’Amore will insert a cannula to remove unwanted fatty tissue carefully sculpt the treatment area to create definition and a natural appearance. Dr. D’Amore can also perform liposuction to remove excess body fat and use it for fat transfer to enhance other areas of the face or body, such as the breasts and face.
Recovery
Bruising and swelling may occur following your procedure. Most patients may return to work a few days after their procedure, and they can resume normal activities including exercise programs in two weeks.

The cost of your procedure will vary depending on the area of your surgery and the extent of time and correction needed to achieve the figure you desire. Dr. D’Amore will provide you with a detailed cost sheet during your consultation.
